The annual Iftar event, a collaborative effort between Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) and Bashori – A Nazrul Center, took place on April 7, 2023, at the headquarters of Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU). This esteemed occasion, characterized by its blend of celebration and religious observance, remains a steadfast event for both organizations.
Under the patronages of the Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) and cooperation of Md. Habibur Rahman, the founder chairman of Uttaran Foundation and Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), a distribution event featuring Energy-saving stoves was organized on 14 March 2024, benefitting 4,000 impoverished families in Ward No. 1 of Savar Municipality.
On March 3, 2024 the Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) has successfully inaugurated an Energy-saving Stove Distribution program aimed at improving the livelihoods of the Bede families residing in the No. 1 Ward of Savar Municipality. Led by a dedicated team including Maruna Akter and Kazi Humayun Kabir, Community Development Specialists of the BONDHU, the initiative focused on distributing Sashroyi Chula (Energy-saving Stove) among the Bede families to enhance their livelihoods.
