Bashori Celebrated its 8th Founding Anniversary
The 8th anniversary of the Bashori - A Nazrul Center, a sister organization of Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) was held with much enthusiasm and grandeur on 4th November 2022. The anniversary of the Bashori was celebrated in a festive ambience. President of Bashori Dr. Engr. Khalequzzaman, members of Bashori, artists, visitors, and staff of Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) and Bashori were present in the occasion.
To mark the day, the founder and president of Bashori Dr. Khalequzzaman, and the members of Bashori, artists, poets, reciters and the fans of Nazrul offered floral tribute at the mausoleum of the national poet at 11:00 AM. Later, the event concluded with lunch at 2:00 PM, a birthday cake cutting at 3:00 PM, a discussion meeting, and an animated cultural program at the office of Bashori. At the event, Nazrul's songs were performed by the artists of Bashori. On the occasion of the centennial of Nazrul’s revolutionary poem, “Bidrohi” (The Rebel) was recited in chorus by the attendees of the event and Tito Munsi, a noted reciter led the recitation of the poem. The event ended with the recitation of Nazrul's other poems by other reciters.
