Workshop on Feasibility Study of AWD Application in Bangladesh held at Khamarbari, Dhaka

A workshop titled "Workshop on Feasibility Study of AWD Application in Bangladesh" was successfully held on 23 June 2025 at 10:00 am. The event took place at the Partner Project Hall Room, Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Khamarbari, Dhaka. 

The workshop was chaired by Md. Habibullah, Director of the Administration and Finance Wing, DAE, Khamarbari, Dhaka. The event was further graced by the presence of Mr. Dipankar Biswas, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Extension, who attended as the Respected Guest.

This crucial session was organized to evaluate the feasibility of implementing Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) technology in agricultural practices across Bangladesh. The workshop aimed to explore sustainable and efficient irrigation techniques that conserve water while ensuring optimal crop yield.

The event was organized by the Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) to address agricultural and environmental challenges through innovation and partnership.
