BONDHU is taking part in the National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair 2024

The week-long Environment Fair, in celebration of World Environment Day, took place from June 5th to June 11th, 2024. Concurrently, the National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair-2024 commenced on June 5th and will continue until July 13th, 2024, at Agargaon. The fair was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, on June 5th.

Since 2023, the Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) has been an active participant in the Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair, aiming to raise mass awareness about tree planting and share information about BONDHU’s tree plantation projects. This year, BONDHU’s stall is number 39.

At the stall, BONDHU representatives are actively engaging with visitors, providing detailed information about their Tree Plantation Project, and distributing informative leaflets. In addition to these activities, the stall showcases 50 species of selected climate-friendly tree saplings, demonstrating BONDHU's commitment to promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Visitors to the fair have the opportunity to learn about the importance of tree planting, discover the various species of trees that are beneficial for the climate, and understand how they can contribute to a greener future.
